PADI Advanced Open Water Course:

Whether you're newly qualified or have hundreds of dives logged, the PADI Advanced Open Water course gives you the confidence, skills and experience to take your diving to new levels of excitement.

What makes your pulse race? What ignites your imagination? PADI Advanced Open Water training offers something for everyone. This in-water, performance based course includes two "core" dives, a deep and underwater navigation dive. And three different "elective" dives that might include: An altitude dive, a boat dive, an underwater naturalist dive, a dry suit dive, a multilevel dive, a search and recovery dive, a drift dive, a wreck dive, night dive, etc.

The course commences with a Scuba tune-up - a quiz to review your theory level with your instructor. After reading the manual and doing the knowledge reviews one is ready for the fun part of this course - diving. The course is run in a relaxed manner with the Instructor who offers help, encouragement and expert advice to guide you through the various tasks that will develop a greater awareness of the environment and other excellent skill building exercises.

What do I need to start?

You must have the PADI Open Water Diver certification, or equivalent.

Course Duration

Generally this course is completed over one weekend.

What next?

After successfully completing the Advanced Open Water Diver course, may want to continue your dive education with some of our the PADI Speciality Diver or PADI Rescue Diver certifications.
