Dive 2012 We are back in the water, its cold but the Vis is excellent. We have the same schedule as last year. The boat will leave Harbour at 10am and 12pm daily. More dives scheduled for summer season.

Waterworld leads the way
Waterworld was again awarded the PADI Certificate of Recognition for Excellence. Congratulations Sandra on being awarded the PADI silver Course Director award for 2011. Sandra has ranked every year since the programme's inception. Sandra is a dedicated Course Director and one of the worlds top female Course Directors. She prides herself in giving each student individual attention and personalised counselling. She doesn''t just teach someone to pass the IE, she is also passionate that her candidates are confident, knowledgeable, and prepared enough to be effective PADI Instructors.
With 20 PADI Specialty Instructor courses to offer her candidates and EFR Instructor trainer ratings Sandra provide her students with the skills needed to teach these special abilities. Through providing speciality instructor courses like these, Sandra can ensure that each person she trains has the ability to become a successful and in-demand diving instructor themselves.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC The National Geographic is synonymous with quality and integrity and stands for Adventure, Conservation and Exploration. The National Geographic Diver programme may be conducted only at a National Geographic Dive Centre. We are proud to be able to say we are one of an elite group of Europe's top diver training establishments to qualify to offer this excellent course and the only dive centre in Ireland to do so.
The course is structured in one of two ways. For new divers, it's a six dive for the Open Water Diver course, incorporating all the skills, theory and materials from the Open Water course. For qualified divers it's a two dive course. Both options include the National Geographic Almanac and DVD, which aims to broaden a diver's perspective and incorporate the three National Geographic values - Adventure, Conservation and Exploration - into diver training, and the extra skills required of National Geographic Divers. Instructor Development Course This year Ireland will have two PADI Instructor Exams, the first in Renvyle 30th June and July 1st and the 2nd IE in Tralee on the 10th and 11th November. So now is the time to plan your IDC. We have a few options on offer; Option 1- IDC over four weekend starting May 19/20, May 26/27, June 16/17 and June 23/24. Option 2 - IDC full week course starting June 9th to 16th. Option 3 - IDC over four weekend starting September 29/30, October 6/7 & 13/14 & 20/21 Option 4 - IDC full week course starting 31 October to 8th November. Sandra will run an IDC to suit you at no extra cost, here are a few options available to you: Option 1 - Running for four weekends of your choice. Option 2 - Split up over a Two Week period - 4 days one week and 4 days another week . Option 3- Full eight day program, We are flexible and can suit your time off. Seals of Illaunnabarnagh: This is the time of the year when the seal gather to give birth and mate. From now on the young pups are plentyful and very playful. We try to get down to them as often as possible so as we can monitor their progress keep an eye on them. To meet them in the wild is fantastic and to dive with them is awesome.
